Werk it! Staying fit during Coronavirus lockdown
I get it. Cabin fever is kicking in for everyone. Spring is about to happen, and it’s some of the best weather for outdoor exercise. Please, don’t be tempted. And, […]
I'm Richelle. My husband is Brian. Our two cats are Bjorn and Amira. I try not to embarrass them, but that's not always possible. We just moved to San Francisco and I finished my first novel, "The Lucid Nymph." I'm looking for an agent who will sign me without making me change anything and tell me it's perfect. I have avoided blogging for four years, but I am back. I need an outlet that isn't my book. I drink gin, love cats, Bravo television, all murder-y shows, lipstick in every shade of red, mountains, the ocean, traveling and a bunch of other hobbies that I don't often have time to do. I hope you enjoy the words I have patched together to form stories of my life.

“It’s a New Year, it’s a New You!” This is an ad slogan for a diet program that seems to run every year around the holidays to get us all […]
There’s a girl crouched down in front of a large chain drug store, cell phone pressed to her ear with one hand, a cigarette in the other. Her nose ring […]
There are many terms used to describe spinal disc pain, such as “herniated disc,” “impinged nerve,” and “bulging disc.” After viewing my MRI and seeing the large, blobby intrusion that […]
Sizzling bacon. Fluffy pancakes. Thick, creamy milk shakes. Whether immortalized by singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega in 1981, or as a meal-time staple for Seinfeld and his pals, New York City diners […]
New Yorkers will stand in line for anything. Last summer I stood in line at 7:30 am on a Saturday morning to try to get the infamous “Cronut” by Dominque […]
